Elements 2

Contemporary British Silversmiths is delighted that it will be collaborating this year with the Elements 2 Festival of Gold and Silver to bring the Silver Speaks programme to Edinburgh.

Three of our exhibitors and members will be showing their work at this new prestigious gold and silver festival – Mary Ann Simmons, Hazel Thorn and Hamish Dobbie. Each will be giving an overview of the Silver Speaks event and giving workshops at the Elements 2 event.

Elements, established in 2015, was the first ever festival of gold and silver to be held in Scotland. It is a celebration not only of the beauty of precious metals, but of the creative minds and dextrous hands of the craftspeople who create extraordinary objects from these most precious – and fundamental – of our world’s elements.

Silver  Speaks Workshops:

Thursday 12.30 – 1.30 pm
Hazel Thorn [Private Event]

Friday 12.30 – 1.30 pm

Saturday 12.30 – 1.30 pm
