Acclaimed applied arts design critic and curator Corinne Julius will talk about the Silver Speaks exhibition held at the V&A in 2016/17 and will interview one of Britain’s pre-eminent silversmiths Clive Burr, who for the last 30 years has been producing design led, handmade silverware and jewellery of the highest quality. His past commissions include presentations for Her Majesty the Queen, the late Queen Mother, Middle Eastern royal families, London livery companies including the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, and No.10 Downing Street. Attendees will have a chance to speak to Clive Burr and handle work in progress and find out how silversmithing pieces are made.
