Contemporary British Silversmiths have been invited to create a unique selling exhibition in the prestigious surroundings of the V&A’s famous shop. The beautiful and intriguing pieces on sale by seven members of Contemporary British Silversmiths have been specially selected by the V&A to complement Silver Speaks: ‘Idea to Object’, the display currently in the V&A Silver Galleries.

Each piece has been individually hand crafted in the UK in solid silver using traditional silversmithing techniques, sometimes in combination with new technologies such as rapid prototyping and 3D printing.

A catalogue for the Silver Speaks: ‘Idea to Object exhibition is available at the V&A shops or online at £3.50. A catalogue for Silver Speaks: ‘Form’ is available free of charge at the Goldsmiths’ Centre or online (postage rates apply).
